One of the problems with most 'prefab' bookcases, apart from their being made of depleted-uranium-core particleboard and weighing 580 pounds, is that the shelves are always too small. At most, they'll hold hardcovers, but for most binders, you're out of luck, so I designed a bookcase to deal with that. It has slot-set 12x15x36 shelves to handle full-size 3-ring binders.

I cut the sides with relief elements to pick up the mission elements in the room, though they're hard to see in these pictures.

Shown here after sealing - wood tone is intended to fit in the same color family as the rest of the room. It'll gradually deepen into gold as it ages.
